Note - This ARROW Racing 2:1 Collector unit is designed to either connect direct to a ARROW Silencer - Maxi Race-Tech #71805 Series or the new SONORA #72505 Series.
Or alternatively, the O.E. silencer system can be retained.

Made with INOX Stainless Steel [AISI 304 grade] for a durable light weight item that allows performance gains.
This Racing collector system is supplied with provision for the O.E. exhaust sensor mounting points (2).

> Technical Note :The BMW Original Equipment Collectors unit has a fixed Exhaust Valve fitted.
When replacing this O.E. unit with an Arrow Racing Collector #71722MI, the exhaust valve will be eliminated.
The BMW On-Board Diagnostic System (EOBD) will display a warning message due to the exhaust valve malfunction [removal]
and the ECU can / will enter a 'Recovery Mode' status.
Therefore, when installing the Arrow Collector, it is strongly recommended to remap the ECU with
a 'Deactivating Exhaust Valve function' map.
Or alternatively, purchase and install an After Market 'Exhaust Valve Emulator System'.
